After a very early wake and a whole day of queuing up under a very hot sun, I somehow got a place at the front barricade right at the front of the catwalk. Guys I've never had a closer Madonna experience than this. She was just one single metre away from me and boy, does she look great!
The show was fun and Madonna was in a very good mood for the whole time. She said she was feeling our love and energy and wish to give it back to us. She even dedicated a song (Like A Virgin!) to the Pope, adding 'I know he loves me as well'.
Finally, while we were waiting at the front barricade, some of the dancers came aroung filming us and chatting (I wasn't among the lucky ones). Plus Guy Oseary and Nathan Rissman (the director of I Am Because We Are) whom I asked if he was making some shoot for a documentary. He said he was, so let's keep our fingers crossed for the realise of the concert DVD.
