Tuesday 09 September - Commerzbank Arena, Frankfurt
From Greg:
WOW what a show again! Right before 'Human Nature' she welcomed Frankfurt with 'Wie geht's Frankfurt?' (How are you Frankfurt?).
She did again parts of Holiday in the acapella part right before Hung Up but she quickly changed to Express Yourself again.
She wore the red heart-shaped sunglasses again and as a side note I noticed that the 'round-screen' wasn't working properly.
From Jordana And Tini:
First at all, it was an amazing concert, with a flawless performance, and our Queen was in fantastic shape and in a brilliant mood.
The show started at 21:16pm after Robyn had done her best bringing the crowd into the right mood. We went crazy when Madonna appeared and stood up from our seats, yes we had seats but with a great view to the stage.
Unfortunately the Frankfurters were a really hard crowd to deal with but Madonna had them in her spell. In spite of what I heard from other tour reports she spoke to the crowd, let us sing with her, we sang all together Express Yourself, for more than twenty seconds. She stood there with her guitar smiling, I guess she was impressed.
One of the best moments was the gypsy section - she seemed as she really had fun doing the performance and Miles Away: more than 40,000 people were clapping their hands and singing the lyrics, it was magical.
I could write so much more, but I can't find the right words that would do justice to what we saw and what we felt during the two hours.
From Popi:
Just came back from the concert in Frankfurt and it was fantastic!
Madonna said 'Hello Frankfurt' a couple of times and she also spoke a bit of German! First asking 'How are you Frankfurt?' in German and then 'Do you speak German?'
It was a very energetic performance, although at times I thought I was at a Metallica concert! She was ROCKIN'!
Of course she called us 'motherf*ckers' a couple of times and the crowd really enjoyed it. My favourites were Like A Prayer and Give It 2 Me.
She looked great, and the work she has put in really shows. Hope you guys get a chance to see her in concert, it is worth it!
