Tuesday 28 July - Vallehovin, Oslo

From Martine Petra:
I was at both shows in Oslo, Norway on the 28th July and the 30th July. First one was a picture perfect show, and my 'True Norwegian Black Metal' husband and our 'Heavy Metal' friend who I managed to bring with me on both shows threw the dice at a six calling it the best show they'd seen live, even saying that Sticky & Sweet was better than Pink Floyd live.
Had a great time myself of course, and especially when I saw Madonna throwing her Moschino sunglasses out right in my direction. My husband managed to reach them before I did, but they slipped and jumped off to his left, I was standing on the right but lunged over and grabbed them and held on tight. Two other girls fought for them, and after standing there for a while pulling back and forth I said we'd have to split them in two since I wasn't letting go.
'Split them into 3 you mean?' said a girl who jumped in on the tugging. Finally another girl said they were mine, and I held them close for the rest of the night, and shook after getting them because the experience was intense. People around me were saying I had to take good care of them, and that I had Madonnas DNA there. Of course I'll take great care of them.

Thursday 30 July - Vallehovin, Oslo

From Martine Petra:
Thursday night was thunder and rain, but the crowd kept warming each other up with a spirit greater than what I then realized we had on Tuesday. I loved seeing how Madonna, dancers and crew handled the not so optimal conditions, and it made the whole show very human. It was uniting in many ways.
I was standing right in front and center of the Golden Circle, and didn't get to see too much of the show because of drowning in the tall people around me AND the rain, but it was all worth it because I just wanted to see the show up close when it all happened at the tip of the catwalk.
During You Must Love Me I broke down, I had no idea that I would, but the situation was overwhelming, the mood was beautiful, and emotion and tears mixed with the rain and Madonna right in front of me just became such an emotional moment.
I would have loved to bring my DSLR, because my phone took some pixelated pictures that aren't worth much, but the images I have in my memories are worth tons to me, and I even have the Moschino sunglasses from Tuesday as a huge bonus.
Thank you for 2 great shows, and I am eager for more!
