Sunday 22 August - Wembley Arena, London

From George:
Wow, what a great night. This has been my favorite so far, I was in Block A2 row 5 and managed to get some great pics. Madonna seemed in a great nmood making several jokes and really involving the crowd during the show. At the end of Papa Dont Preach, she started to sing 'Do I have to change my name' when she stopped to say 'Don't call me Esther!'. As she went to continue singing she made a mistake, at which she then layed on the floor laughing to herself. The crowd went wild at this, she then got up and said 'I can't believe I fucked that up!' and then started over before going on to sing Crazy For You.
I had an amazing view and rate this night more than when I was in the Pit last Thursday. Roll on tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. Can't wait to see her again! I advise anyone who hasn't got tickets for the next couple of shows to go to www.whatsonwembley.com and get tickets! As they are still available. For everyone who was there tonight I hope you had as good a time as what I had!

From Ricky:
This was the first time for me to watch Madonna live. I was sooo excited. The show began at 8:50pm. When the lights got dim, all the spectators stood up! Wonderful!
Oh, before the show, all spectators played game that you usually see in football field. I dont know how to describe it. The atmosphere for the whole show was fabulous!
She sang so well. I can't even believe that she has started the tour a few months ago. Her voice was crystal clear. She likes the fans for tonight, I am sure.
Out of the many rearranged songs, I liked 'Into the Groove' and 'Express yourself' the most. Anyway, her performance was stunning.

From Steve:
The Madonna energy ball struck Wembley Arena with such force it was like a small atom bomb going off, her effect was devastating. From the opening images of the red dress and wolves I knew this was nothing like we had ever seen. If you thought The Drowned World tour was good, then this is just gonna blow you away. This is image overload, you just don’t know where to look, and it hardly registers before the little goddess is raised from the floor. Vogue is just brilliant, in the silver corset and knee high boots, just like all those pictures you’ve see plastered everywhere in the papers.
I just can’t explain how divinely beautiful she looks. Her voice is strong, controlled and pitch perfect. There are so many surprises, the show effortless moves along, without the long boring interludes like on previous tours. Burning Up and the mournfully sung Deeper and Deeper are so wonderfully 'Re-invented' that you wish she’d release them again. She wore her 'Brits do it Better' t-shirt, told us we make the best tea and sang 'Do I have to change my name' – 'But don’t call me Esther!' Then f**ked up the next bit and threw herself on the floor in shame to great cheers from the crowd.
Before she sang John Lennon’s Imagine, she told everyone that she wished she and written it and then sang it flawlessly, with a backdrop of emotive images, that just made you feel humbled. This tour is the best she’s ever done, not because the number of hits, but the sheer creativity that has gone into it. Madonna seems very happy to be on this tour and it radiates from her. Two hours are gone in an instant leaving you shattered, stunned and ecstatic.

From Suneil:
I have just got back from Madonna's amazing show! My first ever Madonna gig and I feel so good! My seats weren't brilliant but I still got to see and I sung, screamed and clapped throughout the whole of the two hour show! Madonna looked absolutely beautiful, she was funny, energetic and totally cool. However, she told the crowd that she preferred Earls court to Wembley, following that by a cheeky 'what does size matter anyway!'
She messed up during the little American Life bit after Papa don't Preach and threw herself down on the stage laughing, she looked real cute! She also vowed never to sing Material Girl again!
There was a mixture of ages partying tonight, from little kids in their Madonna shirts to old men and women, I thought was so cool! Overall a brilliant night and I look forards to seeing her again tommorow night! Wish I had pit passes!

From Stephen:
What an Amazing Experience!
Madonna was superb, her voice, her dancing, and the whole theatrics were amazing. I was lucky enough to be at the side of the stage and could see everything that was going on, as The Beast Within played we saw her walk through the back of the stage and get in position on the platform that eventually lifted her on to the stage.
She was in good spirits and was laughing along with the audience which makes each show feel special, after Don’t Tell Me she was asking us if Brits do, do it better and then went on to ask what it is we do better....'Make a cup of tea' was her retort.
I do have to show my disappointment with my fellow Re-Inventors who sat on their backsides through almost the whole show, and even had the nerve to tut and look disapproving when I would not sit down, I danced, I sang, and I screamed my way through the entire show despite these people who it seemed were determined not to have a good time.
I am going again Thursday and hope that I am with like-minded people who are there to enjoy themselves.
Once again Madonna, you are still the Queen and in response to your thanks for our support over the last 20 years....YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME!

From Chris:
I was at Madonna's first night at Wembley and all I can say is wow. The show was amazing. As soon as she came on stage the whole arena was on their feet and never sat down. The best bit for me was the whole military chapter. She kicked arse especially during American Life and Express Yourself. After Papa Don't Preach she fucked up (her words) and fell to the floor laughing. Then when she continued she forgot her words until an audience member in the front row shouted them out to her. This is the 4th tour I have seen and by far this was the best.

From Maz:
Hi went to the first date at Wembley last night. It was amazing,I had a good view of the stage, you had no choice but to get up and dance. Madge was really sweating but it was hot in there and she was dancing alot of the time. Just before she came on stage before the front audience could see her (we had side view) we saw her doing yoga warm ups which was brilliant.
I'm sad I couldn't take camera in (why not?), though a few did, it would have been nice to have some pictures, but I didnt want to risk it. When the end came I didnt want her to go, I know it's sad but I wish I could have hugged her and said hi, as she was walking off backstage I screamed to her, but no luck. I feel like I've known her forever, I'm 33 yrs old and Ive been with her from the start, she's like a big sister, but to be that close to her but still so far away. Thanks Madge for an unforgettable night.

From Ant:
My Dream came true....I was in the PIT! If anyone got some pics from last night (Sunday, Wembley) of the people in the pit....I would love to see them....
Let me share my experience with you guys though and to give you the inspiration to NEVER give up. If there is something you want....go get it!
I have been coming on this site for several months now and in that time I have read some of the most awesome stories of people up-grading there seats, winning competitions or just having the balls to kick enough ass and work there way into the pits somehow....well I just become one of them!
I saw the show last thursday at Earls Court (was in Block 1), what an amazing show. I won't go into the details as if your reading this, you must be as big a fan as me to know the show inside out by now.
Anyway, from my seat I could see the people in the pit and just wanted to be in there so bad. I have read all your stories about being in the pit and they just bring me to tears with excitement and emotion, so I knew I had to do something about it....
I was due to see the show next, on Wednesday (Block A4) and am excited enough to have those tickets. So much so, that I was on my way to my mate Phil's house in Harrow yesterday to borrow his digital camera for the show. While on the way there, I called my friend Scott, who is going with me on Wednesday. I was telling him that I had to pass straight though Wembley to get to Phil's house, and how about we pop down and see if there are any spare seats, or any chance of getting into the pit....
Arrived at Wembley at 4, asked at the box office about seats and they only had bad seats left, so just thought would wait till Wednesday and be happy with what we got. Asked the lady at the box office if she knew how to get last minute pit tickets. She kinda had no idea, and said that's probably guest list and they don't open for another couple of hours. So me and Scott wondered around....ended up at a side entrance where a few fans were behind barriers, so we thought this must be where Madonna arrives, so hung around.
Within 15 mins a security comes out, stops the traffic, and allows 2 cars with tinted windows to enter. As the 2nd car pulled into the entrance a bouncer jumped out....that's all we saw as they then closed the gates....apparently Madonna was in the 1st car!
At that point I so wanted to be watching the show again, and couldnt wait till wednesday, so everytime I saw someone that looked important, I kept asking about how to get pit tickets, although most had no idea what I was on about!
Eventually, by the guest list office, I saw 2 girls waiting....I asked if they were in the pit....they said YES. They had won via MTV, and were told to wait for an Alison....I have heard this name so many times and thought I have to find that woman! I saw a big Madonna type security guard and asked if there was a chance of some spare pit tickets....he again said Alison was the woman to ask....but it's very unlikely, but if we want to wait around, once everyone is in, IF there are any spares they might give them out....so we stayed in line....
Eventually Alison turns up. By this time though, there is a really long queue of pit winners and i felt so bad waiting in line, knowing we had no tickets. Had spoken to a few winners, and was so excited for them, but of course inside I knew it seemed more and more unlikely to happen. Alison was telling everyone to only be in line if you had won, and that there were no spares for the pit. Told everyone to had there ID's ready, then started letting people in.
Me and Scott then just stood to one side, and let the winners pass....eventually they were all in, and we were at the front of the line. By this time there were many fans waiting like us, on the off chance. I think at that point I gave up, as people started to push, and Alison then grabbed this girl and her friend, and gave them 2 tickets.
I kinda went blank from shock at that point as got so excited while waiting....to then have 2 people push in and claim those last spare tickets. I then saw the security guard, who I spoke to earlier, lean over to Alison and say something....Alison then held out her hand to me holding 2 tickets....the LAST 2 tickets for the pit....I just grabbed them in total shock....gave one to Scott, then turned to the security guard, and grabbed his hand and shook it, thanking him so much!
By the time I looked back at Scott to see his little face light up, he was thanking Alison. Scott then looked at me, and I had tears rolling down my face! We were going to be in the pit!
As for the experience itself....TOTALLY AMAZING. I cannot explain what I saw. I never in my life thought I would be so close to the lady herself.
My fave moment....when Madonna was standing right above me, but with her back to us....lookin down, singing to her fans, spotlight on her....but it was on us too....I was looking out to a sea of faces....I could see exactly what Madonna was seeing, and it was breathtaking!
I also got a wink from Donna which was ace too, and shook one of the dancers hand....didn't touch Madonna but one guy next to me did. I was MORE than happy with being in the pit, just knowing I had experienced something very special.
Thanks you Alison....thank you Mr Security man....thank you Scott for sharing with me....and THANK YOU MADONNA!

From Jeyan:
Madonna was once again amazing, she delivered another flawless performance.
She seemed to be enjoying it a lot - with her happy mood, plenty of laughs.
After Papa Don't Preach, she asked audience whether Brits do it better or not? There was a deafening scream from the crowd saying YEEEEES. She said 'Brits are number one at making the best cup of tea, but what else? Help me my memory is not good.'
And before moving to Crazy For You, she repeated the intro from American Life: 'Do I have to change my name?' adding 'And please don't call me Esther'.
Long Live Madonna and thanks for being my sunshine.

From Flavio:
The concert yesterday was WONDERFUL....
Madonna was great with her jokes....she seemed to be in a great mood. She said that the Brits are the best making cup of tea :)
Also in the middle of the concert she start to sing American Life (Do I have to change my name....) Then she goes: 'Do not call me Esther' and then started to laugh....
She said as well that Earls Court was bigger than Wembley, but said after: 'But who said that the size matters?'....Ahhhhhhhhhhh she is definetely AMAZING....

Monday 23 August - Wembley Arena, London

From Chris:
She was so cool, before Madonna sang Don't Tell Me she commented saying that the audience tonight are better than last nights! She said they were boring and she told them to fuck off! Then before Like A Prayer she said okay everyone for this song you all have to get up of your arse's because this is an oldie but goodie! She really hit the show off! And threw her t-shirt saying 'Brits Do It Better' into the crowd!

From Amar:
If you are on the left hand side of the stage (Madonnas right hand side) and in the first few rows you will enjoy! And the t-shirt reaches the 6th row! So good luck....two people caught I think....they were on the floor for ages fighting over it!
M had amazing eyes, seeing her close up is something else!
I want to 'big up' and give credit to the dancers which no one seems to have done....they are amazing. All really pretty and good looking and seem to be having a blast. Much better selection than 'Drowned World' I think.
As much as I miss Niki Harris on this tour Ms/Mrs Garrett and Donna Delory rock too. Donna is soooo cool, always happy and interacting with audience! What really did happen with Niki this time though? If someone knows PLEASE TELL US!
The audience last night and tonight were really energetic. Madonna felt it too! She does seem genuinely happier this time. A bit miserable during the last tour! Her voice is really good too.
Overall its amazing, although discussions with freinds ultimately leads to saying things like 'She could have left out Lament and done Live to Tell or left out Imagine and done another one of her own!' On the other hand she does have a vast collection to choose from and she can't please all but she has done really well with her selection overall.
HAVE FUN EVERYONE WHO IS GOING FOR THE REMAINING 2 NIGHTS....GO CRAZY COZ SHE LIKES THAT!
I dont know how she does it night after night, I was hot n sweaty just having fun (trust me its hot in there!) and she's double my age....the girl done good...if there is a next tour it will be acoustic I reckon! (She had better not charge fans the same as this time though!)
If you are a grown up please dont take offence to her Madgesty calling all grown ups the M word! ROCK ON MADDIE!

From Daniel:
I took my best friend as a surprise for her birthday (boy was she surprised!). Madonna initally seemed distanced from the crowd, but eventually settled down and gave the performance of a lifetime. She was beautiful, she was creative, she was magnificent. The crowd was wild for her and it was just a thrilling experience, one that has brought me and my friend even closer together. We were 6 rows from the front, left of stage stage when facing it. We could see the sweat dripping of her!
Now I want to get to the bitter part of my sweet sotry. As always Madonna was wearing her '....Do It Better' t shirt, and at the end of the song took off the shirt and threw it into the audience. It was almost like a dream, both I and my best friend jumped and caught it togther - it was a truly amazing moment. At this point, a Danish fan sitting in the row behind us leapt forward over the seats and attempted to steal the shirt from us. Naturally, we stood our ground and were eventually wrestled to the floor.
Why should we give up the prize that destiny had thrown our way? But this 'woman', obviously in her thirties, old enough to know better, proceeded to bite and scratch me in an attempt to win the tee shirt from the two of us with a strong grip on it. Whilst she continued her despicable behaviour - I became aware of what Madonna had been talking about through much of the show. The futility of war, standing united, loving one another - peace. And I realised I was also missing the last precious moments of the show.
So I said to my friend, let her have the shirt - enjoy the show. The 'woman' in question disappeared within moments with her stolen trophy. We talked with a much older couple sat next to this lady after the show had ended. They also were disgusted with her behaviour. Isn't it astounding that myself as a 22 year old 'boy' can behave so much more maturely than a 'grown up'. Would Madonna approve of this lady's actions? I doubt it.

From Niall:
I was lucky enough to see Madonna again last night, I’d previously seen her opening night at Earls Court, although last night I was in the pit, courtesy of MTV!
It was a really surreal experience and felt like I was more part of the show than simply watching it.
As the lights went down, I saw Madonna walking down a corridor towards the stage and then stretching underneath the stage in preparation for her grand entrance!
The Beast Within was coming to an end as dry ice flooded the stage, the trap door she uses opened and she got in position as the opening strains of Vogue could be heard....pure Madge-ic!

From Tim:
Yet another AMAZING show - the energy from the crowd was electric! Wembley was Rocking - and so was Madonna. One (of the many) highlights was when she was singing 'Nothing Fails'....I was part of the crowd that was right in front of her, singing along and all pointing at her when she was singing 'Feel my heart beating....you're the one!'....I saw her smile at that point and I just hoped she felt the love coming from us all! :o))

From Debbie-Ann:
WOW! - Last nights show just totally blew me away! I missed the first two songs after getting lost in traffic, but when I walked in to hear her singing Frozen, the hairs stood up on the back of my neck! This concert is totally unique, so fast going, so personal, deep, funny, emotional, fun - it was everything I could of asked for if not more!
My favourite part was when she sang Burning Up. An all time favourite of mine....it has totally prompted me to learn how to play more Madonna songs on my guitar! Madonna, you are my homegirl!

From Volkan D:
Although it will be a repeat of others' words, she was absolutely amazing. She didn't have to tell anyone to get up, because as soon as The Beast Within started, everyone was standing already. When you consider she was doing the same show over 40th time, she still had lots of energy and smiles! It was obvious she was really enjoying it and this time everything went perfect. She didn't forget the words to Material girl or didn't feel dizzy after Papa Don't Preach. I was at 4th row and so close to her, I still feel like it was all a dream which ended to soon.
I'm afraid I have to admit there was no eye contact, no touch of hands or anything but it was fantastic to be there, being part of the wonderful atmosphere and I was so proud to be a Madonna fan. I can't wait for the DVD to come out now to see it all over again and again!

From Rob:
Not sure if anyone noticed but during Like A Prayer last night, Madonna was crouched in front of the front row and a member of the audience grabbed her hand and tried to pull her in. She stood up immediately and proceeded to point at the guilty party as if to have them removed, didn't see if this happened or not.

From Gavin:
Wanted to leave a review of the last two nights at Wembley. Madonna was amazing. The whole show is amazing, the bst thing since Blonde Ambition. I had fantastic seats for both nights, and last night She came right over to me on the front row and leaned out. She was waiting for me to make contact with her when the girl on my left grabbed her and almost pulled her from the stage! It was a real shame, as Madonna didn't come back after that, and I was so close!
However, I asked one of the dancers afterwards to apologise to her. She was so happy last night, and enjoying it much more than the previous night. Madonna, we still love you, you are the best. Dont ever stop xx If anyone has pics of the right hand side of the stage from Wembley, please post them or contact me. I was in seats A2, Row 1, 10 and 11. I would love to see a pic with me on it. Thankyou so much xx

From Nathan:
This was the second time to see Madonna's Re-Invention show in London and after the initial excitement of the first show, the second was absolutely amazing. I have never witnessed such a funny, exciting, moving, spectacular and truly first class, top notch professional performance in all my life. I shall never forget this show as one of the most memorable evenings of my life. Thank you so much madonna xxx

From Steve P:
I did notice someone trying to grab madonnas hand and pull her in during Like A Prayer....from my view she seemed to smile and im sure she said 'you'll be sorry' in a jokey way. Maybe she was relieved at not being pulled in!

From Scorpio:
I was at both shows on the 22 and 23rd August at Wembley. On the first show I was at the back, whereas the second show I saw from block B (great seats). It makes the world of difference the seats you have. It is really worth it to spend more money and watch it from the front. However I think the show is very overpriced. But it sells so she can put whatever price she wants.
Other thing is that at both shows the crowd was great. However on the first night Madonna seemed very mechanical and the performance was very routine. On the second night she seemd in better mood and said 'You guys are so much better than last night'. But believe me, last night the crowd gave her as much love as you can ask for. It's a shame she didn't appreciated it. I guess she was just tired and in bad mood.
Also I've noticed that many things she says are the same. Like when she drinks water and says 'cheers' or 'Don't ever tell me... to what?!' So for the most part the show is carefully planned but still gives you the impression of spontaneity.
At one point she was right above me and I could see her from really close. This was incredible. And as for a 46 year old she looks amazing. I know she had a very strong stage makeup but still she looks fabulous.
What I appreciated the most is what a great dancer she is. She is obvoiusly very fit and well-trained but when she dances ahe has a very graceful style. The tango to 'Die another day' was absolutely beautiful. I also loved Deeper and Deeper. It should be released as a single.
As for Madonna's singing what changed is she sings one tone lower (did you guys notice?) and this creates this impression of sounding 'strong' that everybody talks about. She definitely reinvented this part and it works well.

From Jeyan:
Indeed a short girl on the front row tried to grab Madonna's hand. I don't think she tried to cause any harm i.e pulling Madonna down. She was just short and could not grab Madonna's hand easily. And the funniest part, Madonna kept singing Like A Prayer, and at one moment, looking at the girl down she said 'you see I am stronger'.

From Chris:
This was my first concert of hers I've been to and it completely blew me away. This woman and her crew are amazing. It took me ages to get hold of a pair of tickets and when I finally got them I didn't care where we were in Wembley just as long as I was there. We got to our seats (me and my friend) and the show started, seen so much about this tour in both the press and on here (Fab site). But was still so excited about being there.
The show started we were up watching even from block 23 which is right in the corner on the opposite side to the stage. I noticed that people were being moved during the show and it turned out they were being offered the chance to move closer, and really did hope this guy would come over and ask. I couldn't believe me luck cos you know he did. He asked how many people were in my party and lucky for me and my dear friend, two was the right number. Were moved to block B3, about 10ft away from the catwalk when it was lowered.
The image of us to running to our new seat must of been funny and we missed some of Vogue and Nobody Knows Me. But who care's you can watch them on the DVD, there was a rest of a show to enjoy.
And I did the whole evening was so surreal and moved with such pace, there was nothing I didn't love about it, sing to or dance along to. Madonna's performance was amazing, this woman of 46 with two children is such wonderful shape many people half her age aren't in, and sounded better than ever (even though I've only had televised recording of her performances so far to compare). I could waffle on for ages about the nights experiences but if you've been you know how fantistic the show is and how high the standard is. It truely 'was an amazing night one that I'll never forget. Madonna does it better'.

From Manreet:
I just wanted to reply to a fan review posted by Rob for Monday night's performance at Wembley (23/08). I was the one who grabbed Madonna's hand during Like A Prayer when she was crouched down in front of us in the front row!
I would like to clear up what Rob said....no I wasn't removed this is what happened: Madonna was crouching down in front of us singing and smiling then she held her hand out, she reached out to my friend next to me who she had been smiling at then another guy next to me grabbed her hand! I was trying but am too short! She noticed this and pointed directly at me straight in the eyes and lent forward so I could grab her hand. She really made an effort and I am so touched and on cloud nine that I got to shake hands with my idol!
And boy what a strong hand it is! She did jerk forward but she could see that I had to jump to get her hand! So smiled at me as if to say it's OK! Hope that clears up what Rob said and MADONNA I LOVE YOU!

From Ellise:
I went to the Wembley show on the 23rd of August with my sister and we both really really enjoyed it. We had seats at the very back of the arena and before the show began we were getting very excited, and talked about how lovely it would be to have seats at the very front. Anyway we didnt think anymore of it and just carried on chatting and looking at our programmes. Then a man (a security bloke later told me he was the production manager) came over to us and gave us two front row tickets and told us to enjoy the show! I couldn't believe it and i asked him if he was serious and thank god he was!
Our seats had been upgraded and we were now sitting in block A2 row 1 seats 8 and 9. Well I cried as I was so excited and shocked. The show was fantastic and I loved every minute of it, and i just could not believe how close I was to Madonna - it was great, I mean I could see what makeup she had on for crying out loud!
I'm sure that other people would have noticed him too but nobody has mentioned it on here yet - that Frank Skinner was there. He was with 3 other people and he was a couple of rows behind me. It was funny as before the show started my sister spotted him and whispered in my ear that he was behind me, we then laughed as I told her we now had better seats than Frank Skinner!
Well the whole night was just fabulous and one I shall never forget - Thank You Madonna x

Wednesday 25 August - Wembley Arena, London

From Ant:
Was in row 5....just missed out on catching the t-shirt....went to 2 people one row in front of me....were fighting over it for ages....security had to take them away, and they came back with half each.
During Crazy For You I was jumping up and down trying to get her attention....which worked as she looked right at me and sang to me....so fantastic....was another great show, my last one....she noticed she had a hole in her tights, and was laughing about it....even pointed at it to her dancers....and she kept telling the same people off for being sat down....she said please stand up, your making me feel bad.

From Daniel:
This was my first show ever and I have to say, the first five minutes I was in trance by her overwhelming presence and energy.
Madonna complained about how hot it was inside the arena, but that must have helped her voice, which to me was far better than previous shows on this tour, judging from what I've downloaded off the net.
The crowd seemed to be a bit too chilled in the beginning, but that didn't last for long, except for these people on the front who insisted not to stand up. She made fun of them FOUR TIMES during the show, hillarious!
This time it was during Burning Up that she forgot the lyrics and went, OH SHIT!
It seemed clear that she really enjoys being onstage and has a great time performing to her fans. I wish i could see her again on this tour. Watch out Portugal, Your Majesty is coming!

From Lizzy:
I went to Wembley last night and saw my first ever Madonna concert, all I can say is Wow! After the disappointment of not being able to get DWT tickets last time I was lucky to get them for RIT and I was not disappointed. We were lucky enough to have great seats by the stage so we could see it all. The Beast Within opener was amazing, it certainly built up my excitement! When she came up on the lift for Vogue I couldn't believe it, there was Madonna!
The whole show was amazing, the dancers, the videos and the walkway coming down over the crowd. My favorites had to be Vogue, American Life and Into the Groove, my boyfriend couldn't believe just how good she was, he also said she was so much prettier in the flesh, which I can't argue with. I'm off again tonight to see the show from the sides and get a full view of the stage, I can't wait!

From Damien And Lennah:
We had an amazing time last night at Wembley. This was are first time of seeing Madonna live! The whole experience was mind blowing, just seeing her in the flesh was too much to comprehend. She was just amazing! Her voice was superb, so clear and strong. We wish we could have stayed there all night! We only sat down twice during the show and that was for Nothing Fails and Like A Prayer, other than that we were on our feet dancing and singing all night! The Beast Within was excellent, very atmospheric. I hope this is not the last tour, we want to see more of our Madonna!

From Neil:
Firstly may I take personal accountability for the 'OOOO OOOO's that we have started doing during Holiday for all 3 nights so far. I was sat in Block 16 last night, A4 Monday and 34 Sunday, and each time just had to go 'OOOO OOOO' twice to get the rest of Wembley singing along....yes I take my props now!
Scratchy voice on Wednesday, and less interaction. The hole in the tights was hysterical too. Air Conditioning turned on during Nothing Fails on Wednesday so not soooo hot by the end!
Sunday and Monday were probably the best gigs I have been to in my life - Wembley was sold out so much that even Blocks 17 and 37 had been sold for last minute buyers - and the atmosphere was amazing, Like a Prayer continues to rock the place and us Brits do love the bagpipers. The only criticism of the show is an encore missing (imagine Take a Bow followed by Ray of Light!) however pre planned encores are so cliche'd and as M says in Die Another Day, 'Im Gonna Avoid the Cliche!'.
One more Wembley night then off to Paris - see you at the PDO M!

From Sarah:
I had butterflies in the sports bar pub before we went in, everybody who was in the pub were going to the concert and they played Madonna songs non-stop the atmosphere was great! Met this couple who had spent so much money going to all her concerts in the UK! What stars!
Got into the concert and by now, my butterflies had turned into giant FLYS! The crowd were amazing....doing Mexican waves etc, and we were all stamping our feet in anticipation! Then there she was....The Queen! Madonna looking totally amazing, truly stunning and I could hardly contain myself!
This is the third concert I have been to, I saw Girlie show, Drowned world before this....I loved Drowned World, purely for the theatrical show, this concert was different but I actually enjoyed it much much more! It was like a two hour party! I did not sit down once and danced the whole night. Madonna really enjoyed herself and her performance was perfect! She was truly a SUPERSTAR!
We met these gay guys behind us, Chris and Steve who nearly passed out at the sight of her....and all four of us just danced the whole night! All her songs were faultless and her voice was so so strong. When she sang Imagine the whole of Wembley sang it with her, and I had tears in my eyes, so moving. As for all the other songs....they were brilliant. Like a Prayer was totally fantastic, crowd went wild and at the end when she sang holiday and the whole of Wembley got covered in confetti was the best moment for me and also the saddest as it was the end of what was the best concert I have EVER been too.
I love you Madonna....you truly are an amazing, unique, beautiful shining star....lots of love and a million fantastic memories of the show....Sarah xxxx

From Krys:
Where to start....
We've come to the end of an amazing Re-Invention tour....she carries on but after 6 show we had to call it quits, and what a way to end.
We were in block A2 row 1 just by the part of the stage that comes forward. As the concert started the guys next to us moved up closer to the center, which meant I could position myself in the center of the section of stage on the right hand side, there was a gap next to us and we could have moved closer to the center, but knowing she comes to the front of that section and also the speakers and lights that would block our view if we moved meant we stayed put....
She arrived on stage dazzling as always, and when she came over for Nobody Knows Me we started to go mental....and then it happened - she locked eyes on me and I was screaming and clapping....I expected her to look away....but she just kept staring at me....15 seconds later she was still staring and I was in shock not knowing what to do!
I just screamed and cheered more, but that moment alone made the concert worth while....I'm not sure if it was because she recognised us having already pointed at us in Manchester, Sunday at Wembley and looked directly at us on Monday....but it freaked me out a bit that she stared at me for so long! It was after that I decided I had to say something to her next time she looked at me for any length of time.
At various times through the rest of the show she came over and pointed at my boyfriend at one point....but it was Like A Prayer I was waiting for....
On Monday she had gone to touch hands with someone where we were standing today and they had almost pulled her off the stage, so I wasn't sure she would do it again....well she came over and she was flicking her eyes about at different people and then she crouched down and looked directly into my eyes hand stretched out. At first I didn't think she would reach any further, but I just kept screaming 'we love you, we love you, we love you' and she lent forward further and touched my hand....I had about 5 security about me by then but I didn't care, she had touched my hand....it was so amazing.
After this we had the documentary crew coming over loads to film us as we were going crazy....
She came over and looked at us a couple of times more in Papa Don't Preach and Music and then as Holiday finished and we saw her leave the back of the stage we rushed from the building trying to avoid the traffic....which for the first time we managed!
The end of 6 amazing shows and a fantastic time. Little bit sad it's over, cannot wait for the DVD!

From Keith, Sharon And Lesley:
Wow, went to see Madonna in all her glory on the 25th of August at Wembley Arena. The show was visually spectacular. Madonna was absolutely stunning in every costume change.
Her voice was the best I have EVER heard live. Emotionally, Vogue, Nobody Knows Me, Papa Don't Preach, Crazy For You, Nothing Fails struck a chord with us. For us Madonna did Imagine justice and would love for her to release it as a charity single.
Worst part of the show for us was when reality hit home that it was over, the stage lowered and we were able to see Madonna hugging and kissing the dancers as she congratulated them on yet another great show. They then left the stage arm in arm. We were sat in block 13, row P, seats 149 150 151. Giving us a great view of what was going on under the stage.

Thursday 26 August - Wembley Arena, London

From Erin And Simone:
Well what can we say about the Madonna concert last night. She was absolutely amazing. Two solid hours of Madonna was definitley worth the money. She had everyone up dancing and singing. I'm glad to see she was wearing her 'Brits do it Best' t-shirt. That was the best concert I have ever been to by far. She was awesome.
She even shed a tear last night as she was so overwhelmed by the two weeks she had had in London, she said they had been amazing. She had to wipe her tears on her kilt! I would definitely go and see her again and anybody that has tickets for her concerts that are coming up, you won't be disappointed!

From Jason:
I have been to all 6 of Madonna's London shows, but last night's was extra special. My seat was in block 35, and when I read on my ticket that it had a limited view I was a little disappointed. I was at the side, quite high up, level with the back half of the stage. But then I realised that actually I had a fantastic seat, because I could see what was happening behind the stage.
As the lights went down Madonna appeared behind the set and did a few of her yoga stretches to warm herself up - not only the ones she does during 'Vogue' but also some others. Then a little way into 'The Beast Within' she disappeared under the stage ready for her entrance.
The show was as amazing as all the others, but Madonna was moved to tears at the end of 'Papa Don't Preach' when she thanked us for the love we'd given her during her London shows. She then started the intro to 'American Life' but had to stop, telling us: 'I can't sing when I'm crying,' before starting it again! Luckily she managed to compose herself for 'Crazy For You', which she sang beautifully.
As the show ended, again I was glad I had the view I did. As the video screens slid back round to the front, I was able to see what was going on behind them. The stage sank down, madonna stood for a couple of seconds then kneeled down in a prayer / meditative pose before being helped up and led away by some of her dancers. I think the emotion of the shows got to her again.
It has been an incredible few days, and I am sad to see Madonna go, but it was worth every single penny and every single aching muscle. Let's hope that she'll be back soon!

From Awneyx:
As an ardent fan of M for 21 years, and after the spectacular spectacle that was 'Drowned World', I wondered if this woman could get any better. This time her entrance was not as good, the religious iconography was disturbing and over the top at times, and the 'Holiday' finale was not as earth-shaking as one might have hoped.
However, 'Nobody Knows Me' and 'Into The Groove' were visual splendours. The Lament, Deeper & Deeper, Like a Prayer and Crazy for You (If she hadn't been crying) showed her vocal strength is better than ever and Burning Up shows how she has grown musically but her songwriting stands the test of time.
Not one person wasn't singing along to the 'oldies but goodies' as she called them and my partner, a stern hater of Madonna left in absolute awe.
The shivers are still sent down my spine, I still cry when she walks on stage and the hairs on the back of my neck hurt from standing so long! So can Madonna get any better? You bet your ass she can!

From James And Richard:
WOW What a show!
The last night in the UK was always going to be an emotional show for the fans but on this occasion Madaonna herself could not hold back the tears. The show was paused when Madonna told the crowd 'I can't sing when I am crying'....Madonna attempted to sing but had to stop when emotions got the better of her and said 'I told you' while wiping tears from her eyes. The crowd went mad and eventually Madonna composed herself and set about singing a highly emotional version of Crazy For You.
This was great to see, Madonna with a heart and a lot of feeling for the fans. She was a true professional on the last night and totally justified her place in history as the one and only Queen Of Pop.

From Scott:
What can I say about Madonna's final night at Wembley? Everything has already been said, she is number one. A little way before 'Crazy for You' last night, she thanked the audience for a 'hectic' few weeks, and said that she was suprised. 'Thankyou, I feel you' she told the crowd. We were amazed as she went through the whole show again, belting out the songs, burning up for the floor, dazzling us with sheer class and glamour, reminding us that for all the Britney's, Christina's, Kylie's even, there is only one Madonna. The show is the the best thing since 'Blonde Ambition'.
I was so lucky to be there on Sun, Mon and Thursday, and on Monday I was in the front row of A2. She came over during 'Like a Prayer' and reached out for my hand. I was about to hold her hand when the girl I was sat next to jumped up and almost pulled her from the stage! Madonna gave her 'the look', and I think she felt terrible for being so silly! I was gutted that I missed my chance too! But I got a lovely smile, and that meant the world to me. Thankyou Madonna, it was awesome! DONT EVER STOP XXX

From Hannah:
Why do all good things have to come to an end? Experienced a third AMAZING night with Madonna but sadly was my last time! I have memories that will last and I will treasure for a lifetime though!
Last night was again incredible and I totally agree with a fan review about releasing an album of this concert - how fantastic would that be?! We were sitting in Block 14 and simply loved it when she sang 'Crazy for you' directly opposite us!
It's very hard to choose a favourite although I always got a rush of adrenaline in 'Into The Groove' - the dancing and choregraphy was astounding! Other favourites included 'Burning Up', 'Hanky Panky' and 'Holiday'! Oh and just who is that gorgeous male dancer with the tattoo and fab body?!
Poor Madonna was almost in tears last night and had to start singing 'Crazy For You' again which of course the crowd loved! This was my first experience of Madonna in concert and has without a doubt exceeded ALL my expectations! I dont think anything will be beat my time in the dance pit but each concert had its unique special feel! Just have to sit tight now and wait eagerly for the DVD!

From Alun:
From the moment the lights went out I was standing I was just over half way back in block 5 row Q seat 70. I did not sit down one during the show and well and truly got Into The Groove with our great lady M. This was my 2nd show after seeing at Earls Court on 18th.
Once Madonna was on stage doing the Vogue I knew that Wembley was a better venue than Earls Court (in my eyes) you feel closer and more involved that the middle block of 21 at Earls Court.
She proves no matter what she is the best, what I would have given at that time to have been in A2,3,4 in the first couple of rows or even better in the Pits.
The whole show was great, highlights were when she was on the catwalk thing and was closer to me than the fans in the pits and I could really see her fairly close up. The Papa Don’t Preach and Crazy For You bit where she cried on stage was emotional for not just M but also the whole crowd including me.
Crazy For You is my all time favourite some and it’s so good to hear her do this live (2nd time since 18th at Earls Court)
Her voice was the best I’d heard and I’ve seen her live at each tour since 1987.
And when the two hours were over it was all to quick, I’d love to see her on Paris or somewhere but that’s not going to happen so I have now to wait for the DVD.
After the show I was waiting about outside when I saw the Madonna Documentary camera crew. I was interviews by them and now just hope with fingers crossed for however long I need that its used on the film. And hope Madonna watches this and hears what I thought about the show, and my little reel of tape about me as a fan and my idol.
Long Live Madonna and heres hoping that in 2008 we will all be watching her live again at her 50th Birthday party tour!

From Mark:
I work at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, on Tuesday we were told Madonna was going to visit us as you can imagine there was a real buzz in the hospital. Madonna arrived at 3.00pm with Lourdes and went to the activity centre where Lourdes read from Madonna's children's books.
Madonna then stayed for a while and chatted to everyone. At around 4.15pm Madonna arrived at my department and spoke to all the children and gave them all one copy of each of her books. She looked amazing her hairstyle was straight and her skin looked flawless she wore a stylish sweater and skirt. Lourdes stood by her looking beautiful and angelic.
Just then I saw Caresse come to stand by me I went over and introduced myself and said that myself and my friend had been to the Wembley show the night before. Caresse was very friendly shook my hand and asked me what I thought of the show of course I said it was amazing. Madonna then came over and said hello.
I told Madonna that I had been to the show and told her I loved it to which she replied wow and said you are a fan. Caresse then asked if we would like to go to Thursday's show in the Pits, we couldn't believe it! Caresse asked me to give her my details so I gave her my mobile number and email address she said someone would contact us with the details.
Sure enough Madonna's people contacted me and sent me an email with all the details of how to get into the Pits. My friend Jo and I were so excited we couldn't believe this was happening to us. Having been to Earls Court opening night and Monday's Wembley show we had seen the Pits but were not prepared for them when we were taken to them.
It was incredible when Madonna came on we were so close to her she looked and sounded amazing we saw lots of things you wouldn't normally see if you were in the seats like costume changes and Madonna disappearing under the stage after she finished a song.
My favourite parts were Vogue, American Life, Don't Tell Me and Into The Groove. Everyone I met in the Pit was great. Having experienced the show from the Pits I could see close up how much effort and thought had gone into the show. Madonna simply blows the competition away there is no other performer like her she is very talented and has an incredible energy.
It has been an amazing week meeting Madonna, going to two shows and being in the Pits. Madonna gets a lot of negative press but I have experienced none of this I still can't believe I got Pit tickets! I also noticed that there were no empty seats at the shows despite the press stating there were lots of top-priced seats unsold it just goes to show that you should never believe what you read in the press.
I would like to thank Madonna and Caresse for an amazing week, Madonna you truly are the best!

From Fabio:
I was lucky to see Madonna twice! I have to confess that I was not as blown away as when I saw her in Drowned World 3 years ago. I thought that the Re-Invention show was very good but lacked some of the stunnig visulas and dnacing of the previous one. However, I went again last night and I had fantastic seats right next to the stage. I could see both the back and the front stage. She appeared from behind us with her entourage and she climbed on the stage behind the black screens to do some yoga stretches. We could see everything.
Then when she walked under the stage she pulled a funny face at us (at this stage already delirious!). The show unfolded in front of our eyes and I didn't know which way to look (the people frantically working behind the scenes, the huge screen or....her). My previous disappointment disappeared very quickly and I sang to the notes of every song. She got very emotional during her speech to her fans before Crazy For You and she had to wipe off her tears with her kilt and I could see a couple of guys crying too in the front rows!
Thank you Madonna for bringing such joy and inspiration for all your fans all over the world! We are 'Crazy For You!'
