Wednesday 20 September - Tokyo Dome, Tokyo

From Don:
Due to the fire laws in Japan the seats were at least 12 feet away from the stage. I was a little disapointed that we came all this way and I had better seats for each show in the states. We were in the 6th row which was nothing to cry about and tomorrow night we are in the 8th row. But I am just happy to be there!
I saw Guy Oseary walking around in the crowd, I got an okay picture of him but others were bothering him and I did not want to ask him for a picture with me. He is much younger looking up close.
We spoted Danny Masterson from That 70's Show. Why he is in Tokyo seeing Madonna I am not sure. There are also a couple of Japanese stars that got a lot of screams when they came into the dome but we did not know who they were.
Before the show started I noticed a women was walking around taking pictures of the audience and their t-shirts. She took a picture of two girls in front of us and then about 30 minutes later came back and asked one of the girls if she would be willing to give up her shirt? It read 'Japanese Do It Better'. Of course later in the show after Madonna takes off her jacket after Ray Of Light into Let It Will Be....she was wearing the girls shirt on stage! It was fun to see how excited the woman got! I was excited for her! We are not sure if she got her shirt back or if they gave her something else?
The show started 55 minutes late, however I must say the Japanese are very polite, kind and patient! They were not rowdy at all waiting for her to come out.
When she came out she looked very happy with lots a smiles, looked like she was having a great time. She mentioned how happy she was to finish her tour in here.
There was very little that was different from other shows. The few things I noticed when she came out to do I Love New York she had on the blonde wig that she was wearing at the Exhibit on Tuesday. She kept it on for the rest of the show. When it came to the guitar part for I Love New York she seemed to really stetch it out playing alot with the guitar.
After 'Let It Will Be' she was complaining to everyone how far away she was and said she was going to come down into the audience and DID! She walked all around the catwalk talking to everyone, taking a stuffed animal from someone and giving it to Stuart and took a pair of sunglasses for Monte. She noticed seeing one guy saying he had sen her 15 times, she asked 'How much money do you have?' He then asked for an autograph and she told him she could not and moved on.
Then someone got to close and grabbed her, she said 'Shit Don't Hurt Me' In all it was in good fun and she seemed to enjoy it.

From Fernando:
We just got back from the opening in TOKYO and it was SUPER, BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC, AMAZING, MIND-BLOWING, ENERGETIC and PERFECT!
Madonna was in FULL mode tonight! Her voice, dancing and performance was top notch! There were a lot of surprises tonight!
At the beginning of the punk rock segment, Madonna was wearing the short blonde wig as seen at the LV Xstatic Process Exhibition. She looked awesome!
After Let It Will Be, instead of her normal speech, she complained about how the barricades were too far and kept her fans away. So she decided to come to us. She came down the stage and shook hands and made small talk....SHE SHOOK MY HAND and WINKED WHEN SHE SAW THE FAMOUS SHIRT ON ME! It was the best moment in my life!
She wore a JAPANESE DO IT BETTER SHIRT in RHINSTONES....looked very cute! Guy Oseary and crew were all over taking pictures of the crowd and very warm with the people.
The crowd LOVED HER and it was MADONNA MANIA in TOKYO DOME! Unfortunately, tomorrow will be the end of yet another FABULOUS TOUR RUN!

From SteveM:
Tonight I attended my third show in Japan. I am traveling with Patrick who posted news from the second Osaka show.
Tonight she spoke in Japanese several times....'Konbanwa Tokyo....genki desu ka?' and she also said 'Tonde!' again during Jump and I Love New York.
When she emerged for I love New York, she wore the wig she wore earlier today for the filming of the Jump video. The wig resembles her original Drowned World Tour haircut, from the beginning of that tour. It looks fantastic!
During Let It Will Be she removed her shirt and wore a Re-Invention style T shirt that read 'Japanese Do It Better'.
Before Drowned World, she again climbed from the stage and touched the hands of fans. She received Japanese 'Hello Kitty' from one fan, and she spoke to Israel from the icon forum, thanking him for coming to so many shows. She also asked him if he was broke.
As she was about to climb back onto the stage, someone grabbed her for a split second and she said....'Dont hurt me....I've still got a show to do'. A few moments later, she said 'It's ok, I know you didnt mean it'.
The mood was very light tonight and the crowd was fantastic. The show was COMPLETELY SOLD OUT. The band members were playing up to the camera several times throughout the show.
She again complained about the distance between the runway and the audience. She told everyone to 'Complain to the King or President or whatever'.

Thursday 21 September - Tokyo Dome, Tokyo

From Alex:
Tokyo has been in colours of Madonna for over a week. Bars (gay ones) are playing Madonna have been playing Madonna a lot. Many people from all over the world came to Tokyo specially to see the concert. When I say all over the world I really mean it. Some people come even from Europe, LA, Australia, all over Asia.
I was very lucky that I actually visited Madonna's private promotional live show at a club in Tokyo last year. So I kind of got the idea what is she like when she plays live and that's about what I confirmed after the show.
Tokyo Dome was almost totally full and as I understood there have been around 50 000 people. Amazingly the crowd was not loud and I hope Madonna wasn't to disappointed. In her interaction with audience she was going to bitchy kinda talk to totally respectful and polite. She was even bowing couple of times and spoke some Japanese such as Arigato Kozaimasu. She pointed also that it was her very last show and she is extremely happy that it was in Tokyo. She spoke about how thankful she was about having such a great job and how great it was to work with all those people.
I heard that night before during her concert she said, 'You Japanese are to fucking polite, but I love your food!'
Opening of the show was amazing, I really liked the whole that horse thing and touch of her personal life. The whole show was showing that it is all about living on the edge and playing with a fire. I got really worried that some of the dancers might get hurt any moment.
With a Jump song they were jumping like some crazy monkeys, I' ve never seen such a thing in my life. The were few technical problems with sound and beat, but Madonna didn't seems confused.
Sometimes her singing was literally perfect (Paradise (Not For Me), Drowned World) but at some songs she didn't sound that good so it made me wonder why was that? This was the first concert withou encore that I've been to!

From Don:
We just got back from the final show of the Confessions Tour. The show was same as the others but there were a few fun surprises.
During 'Jump' the dancers/jumpers wore Japanese heads bands.
During 'I Love New York' after the line 'Los Angeles is for people who sleep' she added....'Are you listening Guy Oseary?'
One of the funniest moments was when the dancers came out for 'Ray Of Light' they were all wearing Power Rangers mask and you could tell by the look on Madonna'a face she did not know they were going to do it and she was laughing!
She was not very talkative during tonights show until after 'Let It Will Be' the she did something she had no done on the entire tour. She introduced the band and took a long time to thank everyone that went on the tour with her, thanking them for all they have done.
She was in a 'Fuck You!' mood, flipping off the audience several times and during Let It Will Be rather then put her face and hand in the camera when she is on the floor she put her butt in the camera and then put her middle finger in between her legs.
One mistake I noticed was the disco ball lights did not drop until about half way through 'Erotica'.
She also had on the platinium blonde wig on again and the 'Japanese Do It Better' tshirt.
I have sent a lot of time and money this summer on Madonna and her tour, it was well worth it I have no regrets and would jump at the chance to do it again!

From Fernando:
TIME GOES BY SO QUICKLY....these are the words Madonna left us off with last night at the finale of her tour. There were many surprises throughout the show.
Quick highlights: Madonna was at her all time last night! She made sure she went out with a bang! After Let It Will Be, instead of coming into the audience, she had all the house lights turned on and introduced and thanked EVERYONE on her staff and crew for the tour and production. She gave a very emotional speech and had us all in a tear-jerking moment. She thanked us her fans for keeping her where she is today.
During Ray Of Light, the dancers had on Power Ranger masks which added a very jovial mood to the performance. They were all having great fun! The remainder of the performance, you can tell Madonna was giving it her all and gave just a little extra in her performance. Finally, during Hung Up, she actually slipped Sofie and kiss during the orgy-gyrating section and she humped the boom box harder and better thn she has ever! It was GENIUS!
Madonna, from New York to Tokyo, WE LOVE YOU!

From Kit:
Madonna's last concert in Tokyo was GREAT! She was so chatty and kept on saying that this our last concert and this is your last chance. Many Japanese celebraties and celebraties around Asia were at the concert.
She was very relaxed and gave us a big smile when she appeared from the disco ball. The concert today was 100% perfect with not technical problems at all. There were some technical problems in Osaka.
During I Love New York, she appeared in her new hairstyle, the platinum colour bob cut wig that cost her 750 pounds! Madonna played the guitar a bit differently during the ending of I Love New York and it was longer than usual. The crowd went crazy not to mention me!
Before Drowned World, Madonna said she had never introduced her band and staffs in any concerts before, so she introduced the band, dancers and named and thank everyone involved in her concert. She said she had the best job in the world and the crowd agrreed.
The crowd expected something special since this is the end of the Confession Tour but too bad there wasn't anything particulary special happened.
It was a GREAT show and I am so happy that she ended her tour in Tokyo.
